SAFETY AND SECURITY | JOINT OPERATION TARGETS | MACLEANTOWN
The Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality (BCMM) regularly conducts multi-stakeholder joint operations focused on ensuring compliance with municipal bylaws, health standards, safety regulations and tackling crime.

 

 

The initiative targets different areas each week, the City targeted Macleantown this time around.

These operations, often involves various government departments, the aim is to improve public safety and service delivery within the Metro.

The primary goal of these joint operations is to enforce regulations and address issues that cross departmental mandates.

The operations typically involve officials from Buffalo City Metro Departments that includes Municipal Health Services, Law Enforcement, Traffic Services, Fire & Rescue Services, Disaster Management Services, The South African Police Service (SAPS), Department of Home Affairs, SAHPRA, Planning and Development, South African Revenue Service (SARS), EC Human Rights and Missing Persons Unit.
